– ITINERARY –
8:00 - 8:30 AM: Guide and driver will pick up you at hotels in the Old Quarter area. Pickup time depends on the location of your hotel.
8:45 AM: Visit Tran Quoc Pagoda – the oldest pagoda in Hanoi, dating back to the 6th century. Here, you will have the chance to admire one of the largest Bodhi trees in Vietnam.
9:30 AM: Explore the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum complex. You will have the opportunity to view the preserved body of beloved Uncle Ho, visit the Presidential Palace area, and see the house where Ho Chi Minh lived and worked from 1954 to 1969. Next, visit the Mot Cot Pagoda – built in 1048 during the reign of King Ly Thai Tong.
11:15 AM: Visit the Museum of Ethnology – housing a vast collection related to the clothing, culture, history, and customs of Vietnam's 54 ethnic groups. This is a significant cultural and educational site.
* Note: On Mondays, the Museum of Ethnology is replaced with the Vietnamese Women's Museum.
12:30 PM: Enjoy lunch at a restaurant in the Old Quarter with a special menu (menu provided).
1:45 PM: Continue to visit the Temple of Literature (Van Mieu Quoc Tu Giam), dedicated to Confucius. It was Vietnam's first university from the 11th to the 18th century.
3:30 PM: Explore Hoa Lo Prison – built by the French in 1886, infamous for housing many Vietnamese revolutionaries during the Indochina War and American pilots during the Vietnam War.
4:00-4:30 PM: End of the program. Transfer back to your hotel.
