Discover the cultural heritage, history, and scenic beauty of Quy Nhon on this full-day city tour. Begin at the Nguyen Sinh Sac – Nguyen Tat Thanh Square, home to Vietnam’s first monument honoring President Ho Chi Minh and his father, before enjoying panoramic views of the city from Ghenh Rang – Tien Sa.

Explore the famous Queen’s Beach, visit the resting place of renowned poet Han Mac Tu, and discover the unique poetry-inspired art of Dzu Kha on Poet’s Hill. After a local lunch, continue to the ancient Quy Nhon Twin Towers, where distinctive Cham architecture and sacred Linga-Yoni symbolism reveal the spiritual heritage of the Champa civilization.

The journey concludes at Lang Song Minor Seminary, a historic site closely connected with the early development and dissemination of Quoc Ngu, Vietnam’s Romanized writing system. Combining scenic viewpoints, Vietnamese history, Cham culture, literature, architecture, and local cuisine, this tour is an excellent introduction to the diverse heritage of Quy Nhon.

 

– ITINERARY –

07:30 AM: The transportation and tour guide pick you up at the designated meeting point to begin the tour:

Visit the Nguyen Sinh Sac - Nguyen Tat Thanh Square. This is the country's first monument dedicated to Uncle Ho and his father. It was created by sculptors Ta Quang Bao (recipient of the 2017 Ho Chi Minh Award for Literature and Arts) and Vu Dai Binh, in collaboration with the Cultural Heritage Conservation Company (under the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Association). The 10.8-meter-tall bronze statue stands on a 4.7-meter-high reinforced concrete pedestal clad in bronze.

 

The guide takes the group to visit the Ghenh Rang - Tien Sa Tourist Area, offering a panoramic view of Quy Nhon City.
Visit Queen’s Beach (Bai Tam Hoang Hau) - legend has it that Queen Nam Phuong, the last queen of Vietnam's feudal era, favored this spot as her private bathing beach.

 

Visit the grave of poet Han Mac Tu - a place that offers a contemplative atmosphere amidst the famous verses of this talented poet.

 

Stop at the thatched-roof hut on Poet’s Hill (Doi Thi Nhan) belonging to artist Dzu Kha, who uses the "pyrography" (fire-pen) technique to uniquely inscribe Han Mac Tu’s poems onto wood.

 

11:30 AM: The vehicle and guide take the group to a restaurant for lunch.

 

1:00 PM: Continuing the journey, the guide takes you to visit the Twin Towers (Thap Doi) - also known as Hung Thanh Tower - an ancient architectural site from the Champa era.

A distinctive feature of the Quy Nhon Twin Towers is the presence of cultural imprints from the ancient Champa people, most notably the Linga-Yoni symbols, which hold great spiritual significance in Cham culture. This deity embodies the symbolic attributes of three distinct gods: the square base represents Brahma, the octagonal middle section represents Vishnu, and the circular top section represents Shiva. These deities symbolize the ancient spiritual culture of the Champa people, reflecting their prayers for bountiful harvests, abundance, and prosperity.

 

Lang Song Minor Seminary - Built around the mid-19th century. The Bishop's House and the printing press for the Eastern Cochinchina Diocese were subsequently established here. This site is deeply linked to the inception and development of *Quốc ngữ* (the Romanized Vietnamese script) between 1618 and 1622 and served as one of the three major centers for the dissemination of the script and its literature in Vietnam (home to the Lang Song Printing House).

 

At the conclusion of the one-day city tour, the tour guide will escort guests back to the original pickup point.
