— ITINERARY —

DAY 1: HANOI – HA GIANG – YEN MINH TOWN (L, D)

Morning: Tour guide and vehicle pick you up at 5:30 am at Hanoi Opera House and depart for Northeastern Vietnam.

 

Afternoon: Photo opportunity at kilometer marker 0.

Twin Mountains of Quan Ba – breathtaking mountain views.

 

Evening: Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Yen Minh town.

 

DAY 2: YEN MINH – DONG VAN TOWN (B, L, D)

Morning: Breakfast and check out. Photo opportunity before departing for Dong Van town.

 

Explore the "Happiness Road," a significant route in the mountainous region named by former President Ho Chi Minh, totaling over 165 km, to discover the UNESCO Global Geoparks Network (GGN) heritage.

 

Tham Ma Mountain Pass – short break for photos.

 

Vuong leader's Palace (King of the Hmong ethnic group) – the moss-covered walls offer an eye-catching sight.

 

Lunch: Simple lunch at a local restaurant.

 

Afternoon: Visit Lung Cu Flag Pole. Arrival in Dong Van ancient town. Check in and relax.

 

Evening: Dinner at a local restaurant. Free evening activities.

 

DAY 3: DONG VAN – CAO BANG CITY (B, L, D)

Morning: Breakfast and check out. Departure to the Nho Que River. Highlights:

Nho Que River.

 

Tu San Canyon – one of Southeast Asia's most gorgeous canyons.

 

Ma Pi Leng Mountain Pass.

 

Lunch: Lunch at a local restaurant. Departure to Cao Bang city.

 

Afternoon:

Explore the origins of the Vietnamese revolution at Pac Bo Historical Sites, where former President Ho Chi Minh lived in a cave. This was his first return to the homeland after 30 years of traveling the world to study Communism and seek a way to liberate Vietnam.

 

Electric car and walking tour options available to explore this historical area.

 

Evening: Check in to a hotel in Cao Bang city. Dinner at a local restaurant. Free activities. Overnight.

 

DAY 4: CAO BANG CITY – DETIAN FALLS – BA BE NATIONAL PARK (B, L, D)

Morning: Breakfast and check out. Departure to Detian Falls (Ban Gioc Waterfall). Highlights:

Detian Falls (Ban Gioc Waterfall) – the most stunning domestic waterfall.

 

Nguom Ngao Cave – the largest cave in Cao Bang province.

 

Lunch: Lunch at a local restaurant.

 

Afternoon: Drive to Ba Be Lake. Check in to a hotel.

 

Evening: Dinner at a nearby local restaurant. Free activities. Overnight in a homestay or hotel.

 

DAY 5: BA BE – HANOI (B, L, D)

Morning: Breakfast and check out. Departure to Hanoi. Highlights:

Boat trip to discover the natural beauty of Ba Be Lake.

 

Ba Goa Island (Widow’s Island), An Ma Temple.

 

Lunch: Lunch at a special restaurant before departing for Hanoi.
