GENERAL INFORMATION
Ha Giang is not only beautiful for its majestic landscapes and winding roads, but also for its vibrant flowers and warmhearted people. The breathtaking scenery of the northernmost land of the country—Ha Giang—is worth visiting and admiring in every season. It’s a place where roads stretch into the blue sky, where the shape of the country emerges like a map, and where terraced rice fields are a testament to human labor. Ha Giang is such a magnificent destination that it cannot be missed.
- ITINERARY -
Day 01: HANOI – HA GIANG – QUAN BA – YEN MINH (Lunch, Dinner)
05:30: The bus and guide will pick you up at Hanoi Opera House to depart for Ha Giang—a land known for its Shan tea, honey wine, and “thang co” stew, as well as its peach blossoms, pear flowers, and buckwheat flowers. Along the way, we will stop for breakfast at your own expense at Noi Bai Airport Expressway.
12:00: Arrive in Ha Giang City and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
13:30: Continue the journey to Kilometer Zero in Ha Giang City, where we’ll stop for a quick break and photos. Afterward, we’ll head to Quan Ba, where you can take pictures at Quan Ba Heaven Gate and admire the Fairy Twin Mountains—a "natural artwork" gifted to this land. Here, you can also capture the panoramic view of Tam Son Town. Next, we’ll proceed to Yen Minh, where the vast pine forest—known as the most beautiful in Vietnam—stretches across the hills.
18:00: Arrive in Yen Minh Town, have dinner at a restaurant, and check into the hotel for a restful night. You can explore the town at night and sample local dishes such as au tau porridge, Trang Kim noodles, fivecolor sticky rice, egg rolls, thang co, men men, and corn wine, which are musttry delicacies in Ha Giang.
Day 02: YEN MINH – LUNG CU – DONG VAN (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
06:00–06:30: Wake up for breakfast and check out of the hotel.
07:30–08:00: The bus and guide will take you to Dong Van Karst Plateau, which spans four districts: Quan Ba, Yen Minh, Dong Van, and Meo Vac. You can enjoy the stunning scenery and take photos in the colorful flower fields along the way. Experience the most beautiful turns along the Happiness Road, such as the “Nine Loops,” the “Mshaped,” and “U or Wshaped” roads.
Visit the Moonstone Field, a unique area of limestone mountains that stand out for their extraordinary shapes and colors.
Visit the Vuong Family Mansion (Palace of the Hmong King), a site with distinctive architecture and intriguing stories.
Visit Lung Cu, the northernmost point of the country, described as a place where “you bow down to touch the earth, and lift your head to touch the sky.” Explore the Lung Cu Flagpole and take photos. From here, you can admire the terraced fields and the traditional houses of the Lo Lo ethnic group in Seo Lung Village below.
12:00: Have lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, we will return to Dong Van Old Town. If weather permits, we’ll continue to conquer Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of the “Four Great Passes” of Vietnam, standing 2,000 meters above sea level, with winding curves and steep cliffs.
Cruise along the Nho Que River, explore the stunning Tu San Gorge, and take in the panoramic view of Ha Giang City from above, as picturesque as a traditional ink painting.
Evening: Dinner at a restaurant.
After dinner, you’re free to explore Dong Van Old Town, which dates back to the 20th century and features distinct Chinese architecture. Wander through the night market, enjoy Old Town Cafe, or try au tau porridge.

Day 03: DONG VAN – PAO'S HOUSE – HANOI (Breakfast, Lunch)
06:00–06:30: Enjoy breakfast and visit Dong Van Market, which only operates on Sundays and is a place where the rich culture of ethnic minorities in the Dong Van Plateau comes together.
Afterward, check out of the hotel and visit:
Pho Cao and Sung La Village, known for their role in the famous film "The Story of Pao." During winter and spring, this area is filled with blooming buckwheat flowers and peach blossoms, offering a perfect setting for romantic and cultural photographs.
12:00: Have lunch at a restaurant before heading back to Hanoi. On the way, stop to buy local specialties as gifts for family and friends.
20:00–20:30: Arrive in Hanoi and return to the original pickup point. The guide will bid farewell, marking the end of the tour.
