Day Tour | Cu Chi Tunnels, Ba Den Moutain and Cao Dai Temple | Departure from Ho Chi Minh City

Pick-up: 07:30 - 08:00 AM (the time of pick-up depends on your accommodation's exact position).

Return: 19:00 - 19:30 PM.

 

 

- ITINERARY -

 

08:00 AM: Our tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City center to start the tour. Firstly, we will travel to Tay Ninh to visit the great Cao Dai Temple of the monotheistic religion of Caodaism.

 

We will learn more about this sect and its relationship with Buddhism, Christianity, and Confucianism. Caodaism is a religion in Vietnam where they worship only one Eye of Heaven, and under this divine eye, they worship everyone. We will see the symbolic Left Eye of God and participate in the noon ceremony organized by Caodaist followers.

 

12:30 PM: We will have lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, we will go to visit Cu Chi Tunnels and learn more about the labyrinth of underground rooms used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War.

 

Under the fabulous and impressive tunnels, we will explore the subterranean field hospitals, weapon factories, and command centers. Moreover, we will try some of the main food of the Viet Cong with a cassava tasting served with tangy tea.

 

19:00 PM – 19:30 PM: We will get back to your hotel in Sai Gon (depending on traffic conditions).
