- Itinerary -
At 7:30 AM, the local guide will pick you up from your hotel or meet you at Mr. Linh's Adventures Office in Bo Lu Village before starting an exciting day at Ba Be National Park.
First, a boatman will take you around the first part of Ba Be Lake, known as Pe Lam, and then past the two Po Gia Mai islands. You will cruise along the lakeshore to admire the giant, ancient trees hanging over the water. Following that, you will explore the second and third smaller lakes, where golden monkeys are often seen coming down to drink water and catch fish. The water here is crystal clear and deep.
Continuing along the Nang River at the lake's end, the boat will head to Puong Cave, a massive cave with a wide entrance and enormous stalactites. Thousands of bats reside in its dark corners, and prehistoric relics have been discovered in its upper sections.
You will continue downstream on the Nang River and visit a Tay ethnic village. Walk through the village to observe how locals work in the fields.
At 11:30 AM, upon arriving at Dau Dang Waterfall, lunch will be served at a riverside village restaurant nearby.
At 1:00 PM, return to Ba Be Lake to visit An Ma Temple and then take a short trek through the forest to the boat dock. If you still have energy, you can join a kayaking tour.
The tour ends here.
