DAY 1: EXPLORE THAM PHAY CAVE [Lunch Included]
07:00 - 07:30 AM: The program begins as the guide picks you up and provides the necessary equipment.
Tham Phay Cave, also known as Lo Mo Cave, is a new discovery in Northern Vietnam and an excellent destination when visiting Ba Be National Park. Surrounded by majestic limestone mountains, this cave remains undocumented in geological studies.
After a 30-minute drive, embark on a forest trail to explore Tham Phay Cave. The route features slopes, forest paths, and valleys, offering a fun adventure.
Continuing west along the trail, you’ll cross a stream with large rocks under the guidance and assistance of the professional guide and safety team. The cave entrance lies at the end of the forest.
9:00 AM: Stop for light refreshments before starting your cave exploration.
9:30 AM: Spend about 5 hours exploring the cave’s vaulted ceilings, unique rock formations, and mysterious underground rivers. Navigate narrow passages, cross steep mountains, and encounter deep chasms, offering fantastic photo opportunities. The cave opens significantly after the initial entrance, revealing remarkable views.
12:00 PM: Enjoy another light snack before continuing to the second section of the cave system, featuring million-year-old stalactites. Afterward, return to the starting point.
