– ITINERARY –
Hanoi to Ha Giang by VIP Sleeper Bus/ Limousine.
03:00 PM or 07:00 PM: Pick up Hidden Gem Cafe Hanoi, walk to the bus bus office, get on the overnight bus to Ha Giang.
Day 1: Ha Giang – Quan Ba – Yen Minh – Middle Of Nowhere -Lung Cu Flag Tower – Lo Lo Chai Village.
05:00 AM: Arriving in Ha Giang, check in the resting house for refreshing or showering.
After breakfast, we start our Jeep journey. Following the winding roads, rugged mountains, rivers, enchanting rice terraces, and breathtaking viewpoints on the way. Passing the highlights of Ha Giang such as Posum Pass, Heaven Gate , Fairy Mountain, Tham Ma Slope, and Yen Minh town.
We have lunch on the way, and we serve authentic local Vietnamese food.
Afternoon lunch, we ride to the middle of nowhere, the place that tourists can never see. It is the place where we immerse ourselves into the nature and culture of the real Ha Giang with a 2 hour trekking. We stray from the beaten path, avoiding typical tourist destinations. take you away to remote villages, tucked away in the middle of nowhere, allowing you to fully engage with the local culture and nature. These are the kinds of places that tourists seldom envision or get the chance to explore. During our journey, no plan is the best plan. We cherish the idea that extraordinary experiences can arise from ordinary places. Immersing oneself in the authentic daily life of the locals. By venturing into unassuming homes, sacred sites, schools, dancing with the kids, harvesting with farmers, praying with them and even participating in weddings and funerals, you will truly become a part of the local culture. We encourage you to jump into the river and swim rather than merely observing the flowing water from the riverbank.
After the cultural and natural trekking, we ride the Jeep to Lung Cu, along the borderline between Vietnam & China. Lung Cu flag tower is the top north of Vietnam. Overnight at Lo Lo Chai village, considered as the most beautiful community based tourist village in Ha Giang. You can choose to delve into local culture, surrounded with cozy ambiance, interacting with other local and foreign travelers to enhance our journey or just having quiet moments for yourselves after a long adventurous day. Dinner at local family.
Morning – Cultural & Natural Trek:
Today, we will check off highlights from our Ha Giang bucket list. We will visit the vibrant Dong Van Market, filled with colorful hill tribe people, the breathtaking Ma Pi Leng Pass, and the magnificent Nho Que River. Additionally, we will embark on a two-hour trek along the Happy Road, celebrated as the most beautiful route in Vietnam, offering stunning panoramic views and enriching cultural exchanges.
Afternoon – Go Wild with 4WD Jeep Ride & River Cruise:
This afternoon is the best time of our tour, we take you off-the-beaten-tourist-trails again to the really middle of nowhere, discovering hidden gems of Ha Giang that tourists never got chance to see or imagine about. You find yourselves in remote villages, unknown communities, break into someone’s houses, dancing with the kids at schools, attending a random wedding, and having food with strange friends. The ordinary places will give you extra-ordinary experiences.
After the trek we treat ourselves with an amazing river cruise on the emerald water, rugged mountains and serene nature. Ride back to Meo Vac town for overnight.
NGÀY 3: MÈO VẠC – MẬU DUỆ – LŨNG TÁM – THÁI AN – HÀ GIANG – HÀ NỘI.
Morning: Meo Vac Discovering
Today we have time to discover Meo Vac. You will be blown away by the breathtaking landscapes that await you. Located in the northernmost part of Vietnam, Meo Vac is nestled in the Ha Giang province, known for its rugged beauty and vibrant ethnic culture. As you embark on your journey, you will pass by winding mountain roads, lush green valleys, and cascading rivers. The scenery is simply awe-inspiring, with towering limestone cliffs and terraced rice fields that stretch as far as the eye can see. The local communities that you will encounter along the way are just as fascinating as the landscapes. Meo Vac is home to various ethnic minority groups, such as the H’Mong and Dao people. Their traditional way of life and colorful clothing add to the charm of this region.
Afternoon: Mau Due – Lung Tam – Thai An – Ha Giang:
We have lunch in Mau Due town, then ride to Lung Tam village to visit the traditional hemp, flax weaving and indigo and hooney waxing village. We then ride to Thai An to visit the waterfall, if you want to swimming we got time for it.
As the sun sets over the mountains, you can relax and unwind in one of the cozy guesthouses or homestays in Ha Giang You got some hours for showering, having dinner before board on the sleeper bus to Hanoi.
21:00 get on the overnight bus to Hanoi.
