Day tour | Discover Ninh Binh: BAI DINH – TAM COC – MUA CAVE | Departs from Hanoi

ー GENERAL INFORMATION ー

Departure time: 7:00 – 7:45.

Meeting point: Hanoi Opera House, Hoan Kiem Old Quarter, Hanoi, or hotels in Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi.

*If you are outside the free pickup area or during peak hours, you may have to gather at a designated location.

 

– ITINERARY –

7:00 – 7:45 AM: The car and tour guide pick up guests at their hotels in the Old Quarter, then depart for Ninh Binh – one of the famous tourist destinations in the Red River Delta area, located about 110km south of Hanoi.

 

10:00 AM: The group arrives at the Bai Dinh Pagoda complex to visit the Tam The and Phap Chu temples, each with an area of up to 1,000m2. You will also see the statues of Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara (Phat Ba Quan Am), Shakyamuni Buddha (Phat Thich Ca Mau Ni), the largest bronze Buddha statue in Southeast Asia, three Tam The statues (each weighing 50 tons), and the largest bell in Southeast Asia (weighing 36 tons).

 

12:00 PM: Guests enjoy lunch featuring local specialties at a restaurant.

 

1:30 PM (1:30 PM): Guests board a boat to visit Tam Coc. Tam Coc means "Three Caves": Hang Ca (First Cave), Hang Hai (Second Cave), and Hang Ba (Third Cave). The entire round-trip water journey takes about two hours. Rowing boats will take visitors through Hang Ca, the largest and most beautiful cave, which is 127m long, situated under a large mountain across the Ngo Dong River. Visitors will feel the fresh, cool air of the countryside as they go deep inside the cave, with sparkling stalactites dripping from the ceiling like magical jewels. The water journey continues through Hang Hai and Hang Ba, which are equally magnificent.

 

3:30 PM: Guests continue the journey to Mua Cave (Dancing Cave). At Mua Cave, you will visit the cave and climb to the peak of Ngoa Long Mountain to admire the majestic panorama of the mountain region, offering a view over the valley from the top.

 

4:30 PM: Guests board the bus to return to Hanoi.

 

6:30 – 7:00 PM: Arrive back in Hanoi, concluding the tour.

EXCLUDED:

• Upgrade to a 17–19 seat Limousine van: Surcharge of 100,000 VND/person.
• Drinks during meal.
• Round-trip electric car ticket at Bai Dinh Pagoda (100,000 VND/person) and other personal expenses.

• Elderly individuals should avoid participating in the 9 km trekking activity due to the long and challenging path.
• Persons with disabilities and children should refrain from participating in trekking activities.

CHILDREN POLICY:

• Parents are responsible for any incurred expenses for the child (if any).
• Note: Two adults are permitted to accompany only one child under 5 years old, a second child will be charged at 50% of the tour price.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

• Cancellation before the departure date: 50% charge.
• Cancellation overnight from midnight (00:00) until the morning when guests depart for the tour: 100% charge.
