The Hoa Lu - Tam Coc/Trang An - Mua Cave tour is a highly sought-after excursion in Ninh Bình, Vietnam. It showcases a blend of historical and cultural landmarks alongside breathtaking natural scenery, providing tourists with a comprehensive experience of the Ninh Bình province
- ITINERARY -
07:30 - 08:00: The guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter (or at the meeting point at the Hanoi Opera House at 08:00) and depart for Ninh Binh.
09:15: You will have a 15-20 minute break to relax at a rest stop.
10:30: Arrive at Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam from 968 to 1010. After that, you will visit the temples of King Dinh and King Le and learn about Vietnamese history under the Dinh, Le, and Ly dynasties.
11:15-11:45: Enjoy a 30-minute cycling activity to explore and soak in the peaceful beauty of the tranquil countryside. Alternatively, you can relax at the restaurant area, taking photos at the waterfall, fish pond, and lotus pond.
12:00: Enjoy a buffet lunch with local specialties at a private restaurant: Trang An Heritage Garden.
13:15-13:30:
► Option 1: Tam Coc, known as the “Ha Long Bay on land,” where you will have 1.5 hours on a sampan boat to explore the area. During the boat ride along the Ngo Dong River, you will admire the stunning rice fields, limestone mountains, and a system of caves including Hang Ca, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba.
► Option 2: Trang An, a UNESCO World Heritage Site recognized in 2014. Here, you will spend 1.5 hours on a sampan boat, enjoying the natural beauty of the magnificent tunnel cave system that appeared in the 2016 film "Kong: Skull Island."
15:30: Continue the tour to Hang Mua, where you will climb approximately 500 steps to reach the top of Ngoa Long Mountain, offering a panoramic view of the city and Tam Coc below.
16:45-17:00: Depart for the return trip to Hanoi.
19:00-19:30: The bus and guide will drop you off at your hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter.
