09:00 AM: Arrive at Tam Coc Museum and discover the rich history of Vietnamese agriculture through engaging exhibits and interactive displays.

 

09:30 AM: Hands-on Cultural Experiences

Rice Processing Experience

Learn traditional rice production techniques and try your hand at:

• Pounding rice
• Grinding rice
• Winnowing rice using traditional farming tools

Traditional Handicraft Workshop

• Join a local artisan and learn how to make a handcrafted straw broom using age-old techniques.

Vietnamese Culinary Arts

• Experience the art of Vietnamese cuisine by making a traditional Vietnamese cake and enjoying your freshly prepared creation.

 

10:45 AM: Enjoy a cup of local tea while engaging in a cultural exchange with your local host and guide.

 

11:00 AM: Transfer to Buffalo Cave (self-arranged transportation or shuttle service available).

 

11:30 AM: Arrive at Buffalo Cave and receive a warm welcome with light refreshments, including fresh smoothies, tea, or coffee.

 

12:00 PM: Relax and unwind amidst the peaceful natural surroundings.

 

12:00 PM – 01:30 PM: Enjoy leisure activities at your own pace:

• Explore the cave and surrounding landscape.
• Go fishing.

01:30 PM: Feed the water buffalo and learn about its important role in traditional Vietnamese agriculture.

 

02:00 PM: Enjoy a unique buffalo-riding experience and gain insight into rural farming life.

 

02:15 PM: Step into the rice fields and learn traditional rice planting techniques while discovering the cultivation process of wet-rice farming.

 

03:00 PM – 04:00 PM: Experience traditional fishing methods by catching fish with a Vietnamese bamboo fish trap (Nơm), a technique used by generations of local farmers.

 

04:00 PM – 05:30 PM: Vietnamese Cooking Class

Learn how to prepare some of Vietnam’s most beloved traditional dishes:

A local chef will also prepare:
