Accommodation: Standard Bungalow in Ninh Binh (Tam Coc Little Charm Villa & Bungalow).The tour guide may not go back with you to the hotel but the tour operator will support you at best throughout the tour

Transportation: Shuttle Bus/Limousine Bus.

Meeting Point:

• Hanoi Opera House, or designated pick-up points based on your hotel address (due to the regulation of transportation from 16-seated not allow to enter Old Quarter area).

- DETAILED ITINERARY -

DAY 1: HOA LU - TAM COC - MUA CAVE (LUNCH/DINNER).

7:00 AM - 7:40 AM: Our guide will pick you up from the desinated meeting points. We will take you to Ninh Binh province, about 120 km from Hanoi.

 

9:00 AM: Short break for 15-20 minutes to relax.

 

10:30 AM:  After arriving, you will start cycling for 20 miutes to Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, then park the bicycle and walk to visit Hoa Lu. Visit the ancient capital of Hoa Lu of Vietnam from 968 to 1010. You will have the opportunity to learn about Vietnam's history under the feudal system during the Dinh, Le, and Ly dynasties. This is the first capital of Vietnam, you will be impressed by the outstanding architecture when entering temples of King Dinh and King Le, the first and second emperors of Ancient Vietnam, built in 17th century.

(If you prefer not to cycle, we will transfer you by bus to Hoa Lu, where our tour guide will meet you an guide you to the temples. After the visitm we will transfer you back to the restaurant for lunch)

 

11:30 AM: Continue cycling for 30 minutes more around the village to discover the life of local people and come back to restaurant for lunch. 

 

12:00 PM: Lunch at a restaurant with many local dishes such as goat meat, fried rice... Vegetarian menu is always available in the buffet lunch.

 

01:00 PM - 1:30 PM: Explore Tam Coc by bamboo boat for 1.5 hours. During the boat trip, you will be amazed by the charming beauty here with rice fields, rivers, clouds, and beautiful cave systems. All create a masterpiece that Vietnamese people call "Halong Bay on land."

 

04:00 PM: Get on the bus to go to Mua Cave (Dancing Cave). After a short ride, you'll walk up nearly 500 steps to reach the summit of Lying Dragon Mountain. Once at the top, you'llbe rewwarded with breathtaking panoramic views of Tam Coc

 

 

05:00 PM: A transportation is offered to take you back to the hotel. Check-in at the hotel/Bungalow in Tam Coc. Dinner at the hotel or nearby restaurant. (The tour guide will not be at the hotel until the morning)

 

DAY 2: BAI DINH PAGODA - TRANG AN - HANOI (BREAKFAST, LUNCH)

7:30 AM: Breakfast at the hotel/Bungalow and prepare for the journey.

 

9:30 AM – 9:45 AM: Guide pick-up and continue the tour.

 

10:30 AM: Visit Bai Dinh Pagoda - the famous and largest pagoda in Southeast Asia with many records such as 500 stone Arhat statues, a 36-ton bronze bell, a 100-ton Buddha statue...

 

12:30 PM: Buffet lunch at a restaurant with many local dishes such as goat meat, fried rice... Vegetarian menu is always available in the buffet lunch.

 

01:30 PM - 1:45 PM: Visit Trang An, recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2014. Trang An has a magnificent cave system, so the Kong film crew chose this location for the new version of Kong in 2016 - "Skull Island". Boat trip to continnue to explore Trang An. Admire the magnificent beauty of this landscape with many caves such as Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Nau Ruou Cave, the green river, and natural scenery.

 

03:30 PM – 04:00 PM: End of the boat trip, return to Trang An wharf, and wait for the shuttle bus.

 

04:30 PM: Return to Hanoi.

 

06:00 PM – 06:30 PM: Arrive in Hanoi and drop off at the hotel or our office in Hanoi.
