The Mai Chau – PuLuong tour was truly an amazing experience. I was very impressed by the peaceful beauty of the villages and the lush green fields. Biking through the Mai Chau valley and exploring Thai culture was a highlight of the trip. The trekking experience in PuLuong was also very memorable; the majestic mountains and diverse ecosystem made me feel relaxed. The guide was friendly and attentive, and the traditional meals were delicious. This is the perfect trip for those who love nature and local culture.

- ITINERARY -

DAY 1: HANOI – MAI CHAU (LUNCH, DINNER)

07:30: MaiChauTourist car and guide will pick you up in Hanoi’s Old Quarter.

10:00: Stop at Thung Khe Pass to take photos and enjoy the breathtaking mountainous scenery of Hoa Binh.

11:30: Arrive at Ban Lac, enjoy a traditional lunch in a Thai stilt house, then rest before starting the tour of Mai Chau with the guide.

14:00-16:00: Explore Mai Chau Valley by bicycle, visit Thai stilt houses, and learn about the local culture and customs. Ride through fields and villages.

Visit local brocade shops and learn how to weave brocade with the Thai people.

16:00-18:00: Free time for cycling, shopping, and taking souvenir photos. You can also buy unique souvenirs as gifts.

18:00: Have dinner at a traditional Thai house, and enjoy local dishes.

19:30: Participate in a traditional Thai music and dance show and enjoy "can" wine.

DAY 2: EXPLORE MAI CHAU – PU LUONG (BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER)

07:30-08:00: Wake up and enjoy the peaceful sunrise before breakfast.

08:30-10:30: Visit Pu Luong Nature Reserve, where Pu Luong means "the highest mountain peak" in the local dialect.

Pu Luong is known for its diverse ecosystem and scientific, economic, social, and tourism value. Visit a small Thai village, hike, and explore caves.

12:00: Arrive at Ban Hang for lunch and rest.

13:00-14:00: Continue exploring Pu Luong Nature Reserve.

17:00: Return to Ban Lac.

18:00: Enjoy a delicious Vietnamese dinner and overnight in Mai Chau.

DAY 3: TREKKING IN XAM PA – NA MEO – NA MO (BREAKFAST, LUNCH)

07:30-08:00: Have breakfast before continuing your Mai Chau adventure.

08:00: Trek with the guide to explore Na Meo, Na Mo, and Xam Pa villages and learn about the traditional culture of the locals. These are beautiful and untouched villages in Mai Chau.

12:00: Return to Ban Lac for lunch.

14:00: Farewell to Mai Chau, head back to Hanoi.

17:30-18:00: Arrive in Hanoi and return to the original meeting point, ending the program.

Note

Guests need to bring valid identification documents such as ID cards or passports.
It is advisable to prepare insect repellent and personal hygiene items if necessary due to the limited conditions in mountainous areas.
The itinerary may change but will ensure all sightseeing points are included.
Guests should bring a backpack or a small suitcase, and oversized luggage is not allowed as the vehicle does not have space for large baggage.
If guests are not present at the meeting point or do not contact the guide, it will be considered as forfeiting the tour, and they will be charged 100% of the tour price.

Terms and Policy

CHILD POLICY:

Children aged 1-4 years are free of charge (parents are responsible for all costs for the child and they do not occupy a seat on the vehicle).
Children aged 5-9 years pay 75% of the tour price (includes a separate meal and a seat on the vehicle).
Children aged 10 years and above are charged as adults.
