* Travel time and distance are calculated from Puluong Excursions' meeting point in Don Village. A detailed itinerary will be provided by the tour operator based on your actual location before departure.

Meeting Point: Car and driver will pick you up at your hotel in the Old Quarter area. Please contact us if you are outside this area.

— ITINERARY —

Day 1: Hanoi – Pu Luong (Lunch - Dinner) | Village Life | Water Wheels | Bamboo Rafting

07:00: Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter, depart for Pu Luong (approx. 4 hours).

10:00: Stop for a 15-minute break en route, enjoying the rural scenery.

12:00: Arrive at Pu Luong Nature Reserve, have lunch at a local restaurant. Check in and rest.

13:30: Begin your relaxing afternoon trek.

Trekking & Water Wheels Discovery: Transfer to Cong Village, start a 2.5km trek. Cross a suspension bridge to one of Pu Luong's most beautiful villages, where a large stream flows. Admire the stunning landscapes, terraced rice fields, local village life, and unique giant water wheels. (Difficulty: 2/5).

Bamboo Rafting: Arrive at Chieng Lau Dam, experience paddling upstream on a bamboo raft with local villagers.

15:00: The raft docks. Continue trekking 2km through terraced fields and villages to complete the loop. A car will pick you up at the main road and transfer you back to the hotel to rest before 17:00.

Day 2: Discovering Caves & Waterfalls in Pu Luong (Breakfast - Lunch)

07:00: Start the day with a delicious breakfast.

09:00: Get ready for a journey to explore the jungle, conquering Pu Luong's largest cave and waterfall by motorbike with local drivers.

Kho Muong Village & Bat Cave Discovery: Head to Kho Muong Village, passing through Bang Village and admiring the beautiful terraced fields. In Kho Muong Village, you'll explore local life and Bat Cave – Pu Luong's largest cave.

11:00: Leave Kho Muong, continue your journey to Hieu Village. Relax and enjoy the rural scenery, feeling connected to Pu Luong's nature.

Lunch & Waterfall Relaxation: Enjoy a delicious lunch by the majestic Hieu Waterfall in Pu Luong Nature Reserve. Freely swim in the clear waters and explore local village life.

Afternoon: Return to the hotel by motorbike, arriving before 16:00 to rest.

Evening: Free time to join an optional cooking class to learn about Vietnamese cuisine.

19:00: Enjoy dinner and free time to relax in the evening. End a captivating day in Pu Luong.

 

Day 3: Pu Luong – Hanoi (Breakfast - Lunch) | Iconic Terraced Fields & Local Brocade Weaving

07:00: Have breakfast and prepare for the day's activities.

08:30: Ready to depart.

08:45: Stroll down the valley to Don Village – the heart of Pu Luong, famous for its winding roads through vast terraced rice fields and mesmerizing, ever-changing landscapes.

Lan Village & Thai Culture Exploration: Walk downhill to Lan Village, the "Kingdom of the Thai People in Pu Luong" with about 100 households. You can choose to cycle (optional) or take a leisurely stroll. Observe the simple, humble daily life of the local people, especially their traditional brocade weaving art. Spend time interacting and learning about their craftsmanship.

11:30: Return to the hotel for check-out and lunch.

13:00: Prepare to board the bus back to Hanoi. Expected to arrive at your hotel in Hanoi before 18:30 (depending on traffic conditions). End of the trip at your hotel in Hanoi.
