2D1N Tour | Pu Luong Discovery Trekking Tour from Hanoi

Departure Time: 7:00 AM.

End Time: 1:00 PM on Day 2.

* Travel time and distance are calculated from Puluong Excursions' meeting point in Don Village. A detailed itinerary will be provided by the tour operator based on your actual location before departure.

Meeting Point: Your car and driver will pick you up at your hotel in the Old Quarter area. If you are outside this area, please contact us.

Transportation: Round-trip Limousine from Hanoi to Pu Luong.

 

– ITINERAY –

Day 1: Hanoi – Pu Luong (Lunch - Dinner) | Caving & Scenic Rice Fields

07:00 AM: We'll pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter. The drive to Pu Luong typically takes about 4 hours, assuming no heavy traffic.

10:00 AM: We'll make a 15-minute rest stop midway, giving you a chance to enjoy the picturesque village landscapes.

12:00 PM: Arrive at Pu Luong Nature Reserve. You'll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before checking into your reserved room (standard check-in time is 2:00 PM) and relaxing at your own pace.

01:30 PM: Start your afternoon trek (Difficulty level 4/5).

We'll transfer you to the meeting point, where you'll begin a challenging 10km trek. You'll explore Kho Muong, an isolated village nestled in a valley, and venture into Pu Luong's largest cave, navigating off-road trails through streams and mountains.

After exploring, we'll depart from Kho Muong and head to the scenic Bang village to discover remote houses set amidst beautiful terraced fields.

05:00 PM: Return to your hotel to relax.

Evening: Enjoy some culinary exploration and leisure. An optional cooking class is available for those interested in learning Vietnamese cuisine.

07:00 PM: Savor a delicious dinner, then you're free to relax as you wish. This concludes your first day in Pu Luong.

 

Day 2: Pu Luong – Hanoi (Breakfast - Lunch) | Village Life, Water Wheels & Rafting

07:00 AM: Wake up to the refreshing mountain air and enjoy a hearty breakfast.

08:30 AM: Get ready for the day's activities.

08:45 AM: Transfer to Ban Cong and begin a 2.5km walk. You'll cross a suspension bridge to reach one of Pu Luong's most scenic villages, where the largest stream flows through. Along the river, admire stunning landscapes, rice fields, and authentic village life. Keep an eye out for the giant water wheels, a remarkable creation by Vietnam's mountainous ethnic minorities. (Difficulty level 2/5).

Upon arriving at Chieu Lau dam, you'll embark on an exciting bamboo rafting experience. Paddle the raft upstream with locals and have fun!

10:00 AM: The raft will land on the other side of the river. You'll then begin another 2km trek through picturesque rice fields and villages, completing a beautiful loop trail.

11:30 AM: Meet your transfer at the main road and return to your hotel for check-out. You'll then enjoy lunch.

01:00 PM: Prepare for your comfortable bus journey back to Hanoi.

06:30 PM (approx.): Expect to arrive back at your hotel in Hanoi. This concludes your tour.
