— GENERAL INFORMATION —

 

Get ready for a journey to explore the mysteries of the green forest at Pygmy Cave! You will explore the length of Over Cave and Pygmy Cave—the sister of Sơn Đoòng Cave. Pygmy Cave is the fourth largest cave in the world, featuring a tropical forest inside, considered a masterpiece of nature with its majestic landscapes. You will be amazed by the gigantic rocks and the magnificent stalactites. This trip will take you to conquer two consecutive caves: Over Cave, which is 3.2 km long, and Pygmy Cave, along with countless experiences such as hiking through the green forest, zip-lining in the cave, and camping underground.

• Departure time: 7:30 AM.
• Return time: 3:00 PM the next day.
• Age limit: From 15 to 65 years old.
• Adventure level: Difficult (Includes: Hiking, zip-lining in the cave).

 

- ITINERARY -

 

Day 1: Phong Nha – 20 Quyet Thang Road – Over Cave – Pygmy Cave.

07:30: The guide welcomes the group at Jungle Boss, reviews the itinerary, and provides safety recommendations.

09:00: Depart by car to km 24, the starting point for hiking through the forest.

10:00: Begin the journey to explore the Phong Nha – Ke Bang rainforest. The group will hike through small trails in the forest, with the guide explaining the life and culture of the Arem people.

12:00: Arrive at the top of Gio slope for a rest and lunch.

12:30: Continue down Gio slope, passing small slopes to Luon slope.

14:00: Rest at Luon slope before heading to Over Cave.

14:30: Arrive at the entrance of Over Cave, prepare safety equipment, and explore the 3.2 km cave. Visit the Massive Attack area with beautiful stalactites.

16:00: Continue exiting Over Cave and arrive at the sinkhole at the back of Pygmy Cave, where there is a pristine forest.

17:00: Arrive at the entrance of Pygmy Cave, set up camp for the night while the porter team prepares the tents and dinner.

18:30-21:30: Dinner and sharing experiences.

21:30: Curfew.

 

Day 2: Pygmy Cave – Hiking through the forest – 20 Quyết Thắng Road – Phong Nha.

08:00: Breakfast at the campsite and pack up for departure.

09:00: Take commemorative photos at Pygmy Cave with the group.

09:30: Bid farewell to Pygmy Cave and begin the journey to conquer the green forest. The hiking journey will be challenging with many steep slopes.

10:30: Arrive at Co slope, a high slope that consumes much energy. If it rains, you may encounter shallow streams and beautiful waterfalls.

12:00: Stop for lunch.

14:00: Arrive at 20 Quyet Thang Road, enjoy cold drinks, and return to Jungle Boss headquarters.

15:00: Arrive at Jungle Boss, take a shower, and conclude the journey.
