— GENERAL INFOMATION —
Tour: 3D2N.
Departing time:: 6:00 AM Day 1.
Ending time: 8:30 PM – 9:00 PM Day 3.
Pick-up & Drop-off: Bus station
– ITINERARY –
Day 1: Hanoi – Sapa by bus with a short trek to Cat Cat Village (L, D).
6:00 AM – 6:30 AM: Welcome at bus station, get on sleeping bus and depart to Sapa.
7:30 AM – 11:45 AM: Following the highway to Lao Cai City with a comfort break.
11:45 AM – 1:00 PM: Bus on the mountain road approaching Sapa Town. On the way you can see beautiful views of valleys with terraced fields.
1:00 PM: Arrive at Sapa Town with colorful traditional costumes of H'Mong, Dzao, and Tay ethnic people.
Welcome drink and itinerary briefing.
Enjoy lunch with local Vietnamese dishes and complete check-in procedures.
2:30 PM: A short walk to Cat Cat Village, home of the Black H'Mong ethnic people and located near the bottom of a deep valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak.
Our local guide will show you the daily life activities of the locals, trekking down to the valley bottom to the waterfall where the French built a Hydraulic Power Station.
Spend time taking photos at the bridge and waterfall before trekking uphill back to Sapa with beautiful late-afternoon scenery.
Driver picks you up and returns to Sapa.
Trekking distance is about 2.5 km and lasts approximately 2 hours.
4:30 PM: Return to Sapa Town.
Dinner will be served at 6:00 PM.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Sapa Discovery with Long Trek Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai - Ta Van Village (B, L, D).
7:00 AM – 7:45 AM: Have breakfast at the hotel and prepare a light pack for the long trek.
8:00 AM: A short drive to Y Linh Ho, then trek through rice terraces and along Muong Hoa Stream to the Black H'Mong village of Lao Chai to admire the spectacular landscape of Hoang Lien Son Mountain.
Continue trekking to Ta Van Village, home of the Dzay ethnic people.
Trekking distance is about 9 km and lasts approximately 4 hours.
11:30 AM: Bus picks you up from Ta Van Bridge and returns to Sapa.
12:00 PM: Have lunch and enjoy free time in the afternoon to discover Sapa Town by yourself.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Sapa - Tram Ton - Thac Bac - Bus to Hanoi (B, L).
6:00 AM – 8:00 AM: Breakfast and meet your tour guide.
8:00 AM: Start your day with a 12 km road trip to Tram Ton and Cong Troi (Heaven Gate), where you can enjoy views of one of the most beautiful mountain passes in Northern Vietnam.
Continue to Thac Bac Waterfall (Silver Waterfall) and Salmon Farm.
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: Return to the hotel, have lunch, and enjoy leisure time.
1:30 PM: Meet all group members at the hotel and prepare for departure to Hanoi.
2:00 PM: Get on the bus back to Hanoi with two comfort breaks.
8:30 PM – 9:00 PM: Arrival in Hanoi. Trip ends.

You'll need to bring:
- Warm clothes, scarf, hat, and cap because the weather in Sapa is unpredictable. It is normally cold in September, October, November, December, January, February, and March.
- Due to the altitude of Sapa, it is sometimes foggy in December, January, February, and March.
- Trekking shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen, and insect repellent are also necessary.
- You should bring cash in Vietnam Dong because the banking system in Sapa sometimes does not function well.
- US Dollar, Euro, and Australian Dollar are accepted in Sapa.
- You should bring personal medication in case of illness.
Notes:
- The View Hotel, Charm Hotel, KK Hotel, and Bamboo Hotel: 200,000 VND surcharge per room per night on Friday and Saturday.

Cat Cat Village was beautiful, but Day 2 was my favorite. Walking through the rice terraces and valleys felt like stepping into another world. A must-do in Northern Vietnam.
