Departing time:: 06:00 AM - 06:30 AM Day 1.

Ending time: 8:00 PM Day 2.

– ITINERARY –

Day 1: Hanoi - Sapa – Cat Cat Villages – Sapa (L,D).

06:00 AM - 06:30 AM: Welcome at bus station, get on sleeper bus and depart to Sapa via the Noi Bai – Lao Cai Expressway, the longest highway in Vietnam.

7:30 AM – 11:45 AM: Following the Highway to Lao Cai City with the comfort break.

11:45 AM – 1:00 PM: Bus on the mountain road approaching Sapa Town. On the way you can see beautiful views of valleys with terraced fields.

1:00 PM: Arrive Sapa Town with colorful traditional costumes of H'Mong, Dzao, and Tay ethnic people.

Welcome drink and itinerary briefing.

Enjoy lunch with local Vietnamese dishes and complete check-in procedures.

2:30 PM: A short drive to the Gate of Cat Cat Village which is home of Black H'Mong ethnic people and is located near the bottom of a deep valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak.

Our local guide will show you the daily life activities of the locals, trekking down to the valley bottom to the waterfall where the French built a Hydraulic Power Station, spending time for photos at the bridge and waterfall, then trekking uphill back to Sapa with beautiful late afternoon scenery.

Driver picks you up and returns to Sapa.

Trekking distance is about 2.5 km and lasts for approximately 2 hours.

4:30 PM: Come back to Sapa Town. Have dinner and overnight in the hotel with evening activities.

 

Day 2: Sapa - Glass Bridge – Lonely Tree – Silver Waterfall – Hanoi (B,L).

07:00 AM: Wake up to the breathtaking sunrise over the mountains of Sapa. Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.

08:00 AM: The bus will pick you up from the hotel to begin your exploration of Dragon Cloud, Glass Bridge, Lonely Tree, and Silver Waterfall.

Along the way, stop at the summit of O Quy Ho Pass, one of Vietnam’s Four Great Passes located at an altitude of 2,333 meters.

This is a prime spot for cloud hunting and capturing stunning panoramic photos.

At the Dragon Cloud Glass Bridge, check in at the colorful staircase and enjoy the thrill of taking the elevator to Hao Han Qiao Glass Bridge, which features three transparent sides.

The bridge spans 768 meters and is perched 1,000 meters above the mountainside.

You will have free time to take photos on the bridge and can purchase tickets for additional activities within the tourist area.

11:30 AM: Return to the hotel to check out.

12:00 PM: Enjoy lunch at the hotel.

1:30 PM: Board the bus back to Hanoi. Take a break along the way to relax and shop for local specialties.

8:00 PM: Arrive in Hanoi bus station. End of the tour.

You'll need to bring:

  • Warm clothes, scarf, hat, and cap because the weather in Sapa is unpredictable. It is normally cold in September, October, November, December, January, February, and March.
  • Due to the altitude of Sapa, it is sometimes foggy in December, January, February, and March.
  • Trekking shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen, and insect repellent are also necessary.
  • You should bring cash in Vietnam Dong because the banking system in Sapa sometimes does not function well.
  • US Dollar, Euro, and Australian Dollar are accepted in Sapa.
  • You should bring personal medication in case of illness

Note:

  • The View Hotel, Charm Hotel, KK Hotel, and Bamboo Hotel: 200,000 VND surcharge per room per night on Friday and Saturday.
