Your journey begins with hotel pickup in Hoi An before cycling through the tranquil countryside to Thanh Dong Village in Cam Thanh. Along the scenic route, you'll pass lush coconut forests, rice paddies, shrimp farms, and peaceful rural landscapes that showcase the beauty of central Vietnam.

 

Upon arrival at Madam Van Food & Drinks, enjoy a refreshing butterfly pea flower and lemongrass herbal tea freshly prepared from the organic garden. Your host will guide you through the herb garden, introducing a variety of medicinal plants, herbs, and vegetables cultivated using sustainable circular farming methods.

 

The highlight of the experience is the DIY soap-making workshop, where you'll learn why used cooking oil should never be poured into drains or waterways and how it can instead be transformed into practical handmade soap. Under expert guidance, you'll safely recycle cooking oil into soap while learning about its many household applications and environmental benefits.

 

Beyond the hands-on activity, you'll also discover how this community project empowers local women and young people by providing additional income opportunities through sustainable production, helping preserve Hoi An's environment for future generations.

 

Before returning to your hotel by electric car, enjoy a short Banh Xeo cooking demonstration followed by a delicious Vietnamese family-style lunch or dinner prepared with fresh local ingredients.
