PICK-UP TIME IN HANOI (OLD QUARTER AREA):
MOTORBIKE TOUR: After being picked up from the hotel, the guide will give a brief introduction on how to sit safely on a motorbike and the day's itinerary, then ride to the attractions.
BICYCLE TOUR: After being picked up from the hotel, we will take you to the bicycle garage to choose your bike and provide a brief guide on how to use the bike and cross the street. Then, ride to the attractions.
LONG BIEN BRIDGE: Built from 1899 to 1902, with a length of 1.68 km, it was once one of the longest bridges in Asia at that time. The bridge was designed by Gustave Eiffel, who also designed the Eiffel Tower. This is a unique bridge in Vietnam, the only place where vehicles drive on the left.
COUNTRYSIDE: Visit rice fields. Vietnam is the second-largest rice exporter in the world. It is very enjoyable to cycle through the rice fields, with beautiful scenery and the pleasant fragrance of jasmine rice.
CO LOA CITADEL: The ancient capital of Vietnam, known as Au Lac at that time. Located in Dong Anh district, 17 km north of Hanoi's Old Quarter, along the Red River. Many relics of the Phung Nguyen and Dong Son cultures from the Bronze Age have been found in Co Loa. It was established as the capital of Au Lac in the 3rd century. It might have been the first political center of Vietnamese civilization. Enjoy a drink and chat with locals about the history.
LUNCH/DINNER: After visiting the ancient capital of Vietnam, we will return to the city center and enjoy a traditional Vietnamese meal at a local restaurant. (If you are vegetarian, please inform us in advance).
DROP-OFF: After lunch or dinner, we will take you back to your hotel, ending the tour!
The tour ends at your hotel in the Old Quarter.
