– ITINERARY –
Hotel Pickup: Your local food guide, who has a great passion for Vietnamese street food, will pick you up at your accommodation by taxi or Grab, or at the Ho Chi Minh City Opera House as the meeting point. Then, we will leave the tourist area and begin our culinary adventure to a street food paradise.
*Menu may vary slightly depending on the day, time, and availability of local eateries.
Vo Van Tan Street: Our first stop, we'll start at Chuoi Nep Nuong Vo Van Tan, located in District 3 – one of the city's most unique districts. This spot is nestled on a small street corner where a local family has been preparing a Vietnamese-Cambodian fusion dish called "Chuoi Nep Nuong" (or "Grilled Sticky Rice with Banana") for over four decades.
Nguyen Thien Thuat Apartment Complex: Walk into the heart of District 3 and explore the old apartment complex called Nguyen Thien Thuat Apartment Building, home to dozens of famous Vietnamese street foods that will tantalize your taste buds. This is where you'll savor authentic Bun Bo Hue, a unique recipe that takes approximately 8-10 hours to create a rich broth combined with sliced beef, pork sausage, and garnished with chopped green onions, cilantro, and a touch of pepper. This eatery is owned by a local with over 25 years of experience from Hue (Central Vietnam).
Stroll along the famous street known for its grilled seafood stalls and stop at a local favorite restaurant to taste the best "Bo La Lot."
Ho Thi Ky Market: A culinary heaven awaits! You'll witness "Banh Xeo" and "Banh Khot" being made right before your eyes – originating from the Mekong Delta in Southern Vietnam, "Banh Xeo" is named after the sizzling sound it makes when cooked on a hot pan.
Then, take a stroll and try Bo Nuong Sa – BBQ pork wrapped in lemongrass. Next, try a traditional Banh Mi (from a local owner) before enjoying a refreshing sugarcane juice.
The next stop on your culinary adventure is a visit to the Khmer market (right next to Ho Thi Ky market), where you'll sit like a local and enjoy Vietnamese pizza (a student favorite). Relax, have a Saigon beer (or jasmine tea), and listen to student guides share about their local life.
Chinatown (Cho Lon): Our final stop is Che Mam Khanh Vy, a traditional Vietnamese dessert stall. The owner has 45 years of experience selling traditional sweet soups in Saigon. The stall is located under an old apartment complex (part of Chinatown) in District 10.
Return to Hotel: Every journey comes to an end. We are here to accompany you in your final moments, followed by a taxi ride back to your hotel or drop-off point (in Districts 1, 3 & 4). We look forward to seeing you on your next trip! Love you!

You will be picked up by taxi (included in the tour package) at your Hotel/Airbnb/Apartment. Here is a list of suggested dishes:
Banh Xeo – Sizzling pancakes or crepes, named after the sound the batter makes when it hits the hot pan. Enjoy these shrimp-filled crepes with lettuce, fresh mint, and basil, along with a light sweet and sour dipping fish sauce. You'll get to make a banh xeo yourself.
Bo Kho – Vietnamese beef stew with vermicelli noodles, slowly braised with carrots and herbs in a rich, flavorful, bright red broth, garnished with chopped green onions, cilantro, sliced onions, and a touch of pepper.
Bo Nuong Sa – A secret Khmer recipe for grilled minced beef with lemongrass.
Banh Cuon – Fresh rice paper rolls, these incredibly light and soft steamed rice rolls filled with minced pork and wood ear mushrooms are often made to order. Once you taste them, you'll quickly fall in love with these delicate yet richly rustic rolls.
Vietnamese Pizza – A wonderful blend of melted butter, cheese, eggs, and Vietnamese sausage.
Bo La Lot – A popular Vietnamese dish consisting of seasoned ground beef wrapped in fragrant wild betel leaves.
Banh Mi – Not the fancy banh mi you see on YouTube or TikTok—let us introduce you to the banh mi that locals eat every day.
Chuoi Nuong – Saigon's best hidden culinary gem, grilled banana wrapped in banana leaves, mixed with thick, sweet, sour, and salty coconut milk.
Che Mam – Vietnamese mixed sweet soup for dessert or creamy Banh Flan.
