Travel to Ba Den Mountain, known as the highest peak in Southern Vietnam, and take a scenic cable car ride to enjoy panoramic views over the surrounding countryside. Explore the mountain’s spiritual sites, temples, and impressive Buddhist landmarks.

Continue to the Cu Chi Tunnels, an extensive underground network that played an important role during the Vietnam War. Explore selected tunnel sections, hidden entrances, underground facilities, and surface exhibits while learning about the history and daily life associated with this remarkable site.

 

- ITINERARY -

08:00 AM: We will pick you up at your hotel in District 1 or at the meeting point at 57 Le Thi Hong Gam Street, Ben Thah Ward, District 1. Firstly, we will travel to Tay Ninh to visit the great Cao Dai Temple of the monotheistic religion of Caodaism.

 

We will learn more about this sect and its relationship with Buddhism, Christianity, and Confucianism. Caodaism is a religion in Vietnam where they worship only one Eye of Heaven, and under this divine eye, they worship everyone. We will see the symbolic Left Eye of God and participate in the noon ceremony organized by Caodaist followers.

 

12:30 PM: We will have lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, we will go to visit Cu Chi Tunnels and learn more about the labyrinth of underground rooms used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War.

 

Under the fabulous and impressive tunnels, we will explore the subterranean field hospitals, weapon factories, and command centers. Moreover, we will try some of the main food of the Viet Cong with a cassava tasting served with tangy tea.

 

07:00 PM – 07:30 PM: We will get back to your hotel in Sai Gon (depending on traffic conditions).
