— ABOUT THIS SERVICE —

Discover two of Southern Vietnam’s most iconic destinations in one full-day journey. Start at the Cu Chi Tunnels, where you can explore sections of the underground network, see hidden entrances and wartime facilities, and learn how local communities lived and operated beneath the ground. Enjoy a traditional cassava and tea tasting before continuing your journey.

In the afternoon, head to the Mekong Delta for a scenic boat ride along the river and explore the peaceful waterways, tropical islands, and countryside. Visit a local honey farm or coconut candy workshop, taste seasonal tropical fruits, enjoy traditional Southern folk music, and take a sampan through the narrow coconut-lined canals.

 

— INTINERARY —

You will be picked up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. The journey to Cu Chi will take approximately one and a half hours by bus.

 

Before exploring the tunnels, you will watch an introductory video about how the tunnels were made and how Vietnamese people survived the harsh wartime conditions.  

 

Afterward, you will spend time exploring the remaining areas and tunnel system, which include special living areas with kitchens and bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers, helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs.  

 

Special tea and cassava (guerrillas’ food during the war) will then be served. Break time.

 

Experience a relaxing boat trip along the Mekong Delta and immerse yourself in the picturesque scenery.

 

Have lunch at a local restaurant.

Visit a local coconut candy workshop and enjoy the excellent taste of seasonal fruits with honey tea.

 

Conclude the trip with a folk music performance typical of Southern Vietnam performed by local people.
