Discover two of Southern Vietnam's most fascinating destinations on a full-day journey from Ho Chi Minh City.

Begin at the Cu Chi Tunnels, an extensive underground network that played an important role during wartime. Explore the tunnels and learn about their construction, daily life underground, and historical significance.

Continue to the peaceful countryside of the Mekong Delta, where you can cruise along the river and explore smaller waterways surrounded by lush greenery and coconut palms. Take a traditional sampan ride through narrow canals, visit local communities, and discover traditional products and crafts.

Combining history, nature, culture, and local experiences, this tour offers a comprehensive introduction to two very different sides of Southern Vietnam.

 

– ITINERARY –

7:00 - 7:30 AM: Pick up guests from hotels in Central District 1, and start our full-day tour to the Cu Chi Tunnels & Mekong Delta.

 

IN THE MORNING: CU CHI TUNNELS

Drive to the Cu Chi Tunnels; on the way, we'll stop at a handicraft workshop.

Watch a documentary film about the Vietnam War.

Discover the network of Cu Chi Tunnels, with specially constructed living areas like kitchens, bedrooms, weapon factories, and field hospitals.

 

Find many hidden trapdoors and learn about the handmade weapons used during wartime.

 

Take a break at the shooting range to try shooting real guns with an AK47 (this is optional and comes with a surcharge).

 

Crawl through the underground tunnels of Cu Chi. This is not recommended for people with claustrophobia.

 

Try the typical dish "Tapioca" and drink pandan leaf tea.

 

LUNCH

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

 

IN THE AFTERNOON: MEKONG DELTA

Take a boat trip on the Mekong River, passing by floating fish farms.

 

Visit a honey bee farm or a coconut candy factory.

 

Enjoy tropical seasonal fruits while listening to traditional folk music.

Take a rowing boat along the coconut river canal.

7:00 - 7:30 PM: End the tour, the tỉu guide will drop you off at the our office in 268 De Tham, District 1.
