– ABOUT THIS SERVICE –

Experience the cultural beauty of Hanoi at night with the Temple of Literature Night Tour featuring immersive 3D Mapping Shows. Visitors can explore the historic Temple of Literature – Vietnam’s first national university – through a unique combination of heritage sightseeing, lighting art, and storytelling technology. The experience allows guests to discover the architecture, history, and educational spirit of the site while enjoying impressive visual mapping performances in a magical nighttime atmosphere.

The night tour operates from 18:30 to 21:30 on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Guests are recommended to arrive 45 to 60 minutes before the mapping show to fully experience the outdoor exhibition areas and illuminated spaces around the complex.

Free Exploration Areas

• Visitors are free to explore Courtyard 1 to Courtyard 4 before the 3D Mapping show.
• Electronic display screens throughout the complex introduce the history of the Temple of Literature, Vietnamese scholars, and doctoral steles.
• Support staff are available onsite to assist visitors during the experience.

Updated Operational Areas

• The traditional musical instrument performance area has been relocated to Khue Van Cac.
• A new “Tinh Hoa Đạo Học” support booth is available at Gate 17 of the Temple of Literature.

The support booth provides:

• Visitor guidance and program information.
• Assistance regarding updated operational areas.
• Onsite ticket purchase support for guests who wish to upgrade from Show 1 to the second show “Su Da Luu Danh”.
• POS machine payment support for additional ticket purchases.

Exhibition & Display Areas:

• Exhibition and display areas at the Front Hall (Tien Duong) and Back Hall (Hau Duong) are open for visitors before entering both Mapping Show sessions.
• Guests are encouraged to explore these cultural spaces before the performances begin.
• The exhibition areas provide additional historical and educational insights into the Temple of Literature and Vietnam’s academic heritage.
